Pastor Sie’s journey to pastoralship began in 1998 when he accepted his call to preach the gospel. On December 6, 1998, he preached his first “official” sermon, “Your Decisions Determine Your Destiny” a powerful message which emphasized the importance of making positive life choices that align with God’s will for your life. Pastor Sie was then lead to further his education, and in May 2003, he completed his Master of Divinity degree from the Houston Graduate School of Theology. With the completion of this degree, Pastor Sie’s heart seemed to ignite with even more passion for God’s people. After struggling with “the call to pastor,” he formally accepted the call and in November 2005, New Direction Community of Love Church evolved.

Pastor Sie has accepted the mandate to build New Direction on thefoundation of love as described in I Corinthians 13:4-8. This mandate also calls for him to focus on purpose/destiny, integrity, and true disciple-of God’s people. Pastor Sie preaches the uncompromised Gospel of Jesus Christ with passion and humility. His sermons challenge his congregation to purposefully live lives of righteousness and integrity based on the agape love and truth of the Word of God. Pastor Sie has an apostolic call on his life to tear down false doctrines in the church and set the order for God’s people to walk in true holiness.

Pastor Sie believes and exhibits the true family values as defined in God’s Holy Word. He and Yola, his wife of 35 years, are the proud parents of two very active and talented young men, Treson (32) and Kendall (29).

New Direction Community of Love Church is a “Family Affair” that has only just begun. Eyes have not seen and ears have not heard the things that God has prepared for Pastor Sie Allen, III and the New Direction Community of Love Church family!

Our Lady Yola Allen is the eighth child born to  the late Leola Jacob Guillory and the late Clifton Guillory Sr. in a small town in Louisiana. During her elementary school years, her family decided to move to “the big city” Houston, Texas. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age. Nevertheless, as a young child, her mother began to instill in her the fear of God (reverence). This fear continues to resonate in Yola’s heart today. Her desire is to give God true praise, honor, and acknowledgement in very aspect of her life, not just in the good times but also during difficult times. This passion for God has led her into ministry by exemplifying the love of God in her teaching and encouraging others in the Lord.

Yola is a graduate of the class of 1982 from Ross S. Sterling High School. She began her first year of college at Houston Community College (HCC), where she met a young gentleman, Sie Allen, III. Sie took the time to court and get to know her. However, Yola continued to pursue her education and attended HCC for two years. She transferred to Texas Southern University (TSU), where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education/ Reading Concentration. Also, her courtship with Sie continued during the course of five (5) years. They were united in marriage and blessed with two handsome sons, Tre’son Jamar Allen and Kendall Jamaal Allen, who are their “pride and joy”. Yola has continued her career as an educator for the past 18 years and is presently a Reading Specialist at Hunters Glen Elementary. Her passion is teaching children and she has realized there is nothing more fulfilling.

Yola’s passion to teach comes naturally and is complemented with her love for God. During this season in her life, God has birth out of her a vision to mentor the younger women, ages 14–28. Yola offers guidance to young women and desires to empower them into the purpose/destiny that God has planned for their lives. She desires to help cultivate young women as they grow into the women of God, mothers, wives, and into the faithful friend or sister who can stand during the good and the difficult times.

Lady Yola Allen is not only a mentor to others, but walks as a wife/mother and woman of God. She stands in agreement with her husband, Pastor Sie Allen, III as they take this journey with the New Direction Community of Love Church. She continues to pray in faith for the vision of New Direction (as it is built on a Love that never fails.. described in I Cor. 13:4-8) and as it is positioning itself to embrace the families to come, the abounding fellowship and prospering of souls out of obedience to God the Father and our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
