Our Vision & Mission
The vision of New Direction Community of Love Church is to build up a community of believers who will become ambassadors of restoration and reconciliation based on the foundational principals of God’s love as established in I Corinthians 13:4-8a:
- Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
- Love] does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
- [Love] does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
- [Love] bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
- Love never fails…
The primary mission of New Direction Community of Love Church is to gather in lost sheep and provide a new direction into a strong community of believers who are committed to building up the Body of Christ and living the abundant life that Christ declared for us in John 10:10b – […I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.]
The mission will be accomplished through:
- Challenging members to love one another as commanded in Mark 12:31;
- Creating a sense of “community” thorough various teaching venues & fellowship Opportunities;
- Developing strong servant-leaders who can effectively minister God’s word and maintain a keen sense of humility;
- Encouraging members to walk in integrity and holiness by creating accountability groups or sessions;
- Building strong families through various relational teachings and activities;Creating an atmosphere of unity through the Ministries of Restoration and Reconciliation – building and edifying people; and teaching them to build bridges through proper communication techniques.
Our Savior
The Bread
I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall not hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. – John 6:35
The Light
I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but have the light of life. – John 8:12
The Door
I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. – John 10:9
The Good Shepherd
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. – John 10:11
The Resurrection and the Life
I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. – John 11:25
The Way, the Truth, & the Life
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. – John 14:6
The True Vine
I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. – John 15:1
The divinity of Jesus is further acknowledged in John 8:58:

Our story: New Beginnings
In November 2005, Pastor Sie Allen, III stepped out by faith with the vision of New Direction Community of Love Church. God directed Pastor Allen to gather the lost sheep and build New Direction on the principles of “Love” found in I Corinthians 13:4-8a, and to institute a Ministry of Restoration and Reconciliation.
New Direction is a place where lost sheep can gather and reclaim their place in the abundant life and love of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. New Direction Community of Love Church is striving to become a “Community of Love” that will spread abroad. New Direction continues to challenge its members to love as Jesus commanded in
Mark 12:31; [“And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”]
The Ministry of Restoration and Reconciliation is evident in the many stories of restored marriages, families, and lives that are evolving within the congregation of New Direction Community of Love Church.
